Only defensemen scored tonight.

Hutson got a point and Mailloux scored.

Another back-to-back this weekend, lol

Props to Newhook on a great game though.

Just dont like the pushback in this team. Need some serious change in philosophy

We hear about it from the lil Kinglet behind the bench but its rarely put in practice. Its a small team that plays even smaller

Size, skating and being hard to play against is severely lacking. They cant push the play

Hughes gave up a cushy agent career to Bruins players to watch up close a pathetic Habs roster lose for three straight years and counting. He really must be a Bruins fan deep down if he’s enjoying this.

With that loss, and what I will predict (probably pretty safely) will be back to back losses against the Devils and Lightning on Super Bowl weekend, it’s officially time to cut bait and become de facto sellers.

Shit the bed against Anaheim, squeaked out a win against the worst team and goaltender in the league, and now getting manhandled by LA? Pretty obvious to anyone who follows this team that they aren’t going to make the playoffs.

The trick will be to get through this weekend healthy, so none of the trade bait loses any of their value and have two weeks off to recharge the batteries.

Habs should be open for business, and I look forward to seeing some guys moved. At this point, I see guys like Savard, Armia, Dvorak, Pezzetta and Evans all having new homes before or at the deadline. The only ones that will garner much of a return would be Evans packaged with Armia as the best penalty killing duo in the league. But it’s purge time now, and I trust Hughes to get the best return available.

I don’t think they’ll move all of them but yes, they’ll sell.
