How many times did Markov ever “shoot” on the PP, how about Niedermeyer? That’s not the prime directive of a QB, their job is to be the general, managing distribution & flow - Markov setting up Souray, Streit, Subban, Weber, all the while planting a seed in the oppositions mind he could always sneak in backdoor to snipe in a pass so they had to keep him in check.

There’s no one on the present roster that possesses such skill set, hence, lack of PP QB is the biggest deterrent to achieving success on the PP at present
There is definitely a reason why our PPs haven't been good since Markov left. There is no one capable of moving the puck well and giving good tape to tape passes.

Need to find a legit starter. Allen ain't it, Monty might be. This isn't a competing year, they need to ride the shit out of him and see what they have.

I'd much prefer if Xhekaj didn't fight Reaves in one or both of the final 2 games vs the Leafs this season but I suspect he will accept and he'll go though if challenged.

Having Xhekaj off the ice for an extended period of time will hurt the Habs team far more than it will the Leafs having 5 minutes per game 4th line plug Reaves sitting in the box.

He should definitely fight and I think he wants it. He's been called out as someone who jumps players, so he needs to slap that big bitch around toe to toe. Win or lose, you must show up. It's not just business anymore, it's personal now.

Fair point and that's why I expect Arber will go with him.
