Habs needed that loss. I was worried they were going to gain more confidence, but this should help them settle down. We are a bottom 10 team.
For all we know, it's coming from upstairs.MSL is moving closer and closer to Ducharme territory. I am not trying to be controversial, but there have been many many signs lately.
I can’t bear watching us try to leave our own end. We get the puck and instead of rushing up the ice on the counter-attack, we stay in our end, wait for everyone to regroup, finally start skating out, almost make it past our own blue line but then back pass it to keep it still in our end, finally skate it out only to turn it over in the neutral zone. Why does it take us so damn long to exit our zone?
The funny thing is they were playing much better before they went that route and were beating us soundly with their man to man approach.Hoffman is one of the dumbest hockey players around, like what the f*** was that no look pass?!
Montreal sucked tonight. Guhle was our best player. Caufield played great. Allen was pretty solid, actually. Suzuki was meh.
I hate the 1-3-1.
He did play really well. Too bad his linemates weren't up to his standards in this one.
Thats true I'm just still pissed at France beating England.Habs needed that loss. I was worried they were going to gain more confidence, but this should help them settle down. We are a bottom 10 team.
Well waiting around in our end, back-passing and then turning it over in the neutral zone is the option we chose and we did it perfectly.We had no choice, they were playing 1-3-1 in the neutral zone so our options were;
- Come in with speed as a group as if you are on a powerplay to enter the offensive zone with possession.
- Dump in and chase. ( which Evans-Slaf-Andy's line were trying to do) but L.A took the puck and just threw it high back to the neutral, rince and repeat until we make a turn over.
- That's it, there's no third option.

Yup Dach is a better Winger than Center at this point in his career. He won more pucks along the wall when he moved back than Anderson did in two periods.Dach was good and some things happened when he got back on that line but anderson was horrendous on that first line through the first and 2nd period.
The press conference of Habs coach. This is depressing mumbering, for a moment I think I'm back in the Ducharme year.
Gotta keep polishing those turds. At least Mike Hoffman scored that's encouraging right?
Well you won't beat France if you can't score in open play. All England had to do was not f*** up
There are some god awful teams dwelling well below us.Big week coming up with some bottom 10 teams. Hopefully the sens keep it up, calgary wants to square the series with us, and the ducks have a hot game.
Luckily, he has a few months to straighten himself out, before the trading deadline.Imagine paying for that performance. Also I used to like Edmundson and now I detest him
At this point, I think either MSL has a screw loose, or has been given instruction to play the vets to showcase them for potential scouts.
I hope they trade him before I moved into detest territory. He seems like a nice dude. Just needs to go.Imagine paying for that performance. Also I used to like Edmundson and now I detest him
I love how Danault left us to go there because he didn’t want to play on a defensive line lmaoThe kings play some real anti-hockey
They line up with zero forcheckers, 4 guys just above their own blueline, and one guy a little further back.
It's ugly to watch, and it reminds you that not every team is subscribing to modern hockey.
I chuckled at one point because the way they line up is reminiscent of a 2nd tier hockey nation playing team Canada.
I am assuming that this is why he is playing with Guhle... to make him look better and find his game.Luckily, he has a few months to straighten himself out, before the trading deadline.
I just hope there isn't a new normal setting in.
