We didn't look too out of place, we won one game which was a hell of a game. Most importantly, our important players got tons of experience in crunch situations.

We need a power forward like wilson.

Slafkovsky isn't it. He doesn't play mean hockey.

Wilson is a unicorn. Very difficult to find them.

But when Slaf is 25 I think he will be more dominant physically. Sometimes it takes European players a while to adjust to the North American game. Even a guy like Andrei Andrei Kostitsyn was a physical beast on the forecheck by the time he reached his prime. And he was really timid when he first came over.

Ita a pretty informed take. I'm not sure I'd call all those guys passengers because I think most of them did bring whatever they had to the table.

But I guess he didn't see Heineman prior to getting hit by a car. He can be very useful for a long time assuming there are no longer term ramifications stemming from that car incident.

There's definitely nothing wrong with that, and I welcome our depth pool setting us up going forward. In saying that we're already one of the youngest teams in the league, and I think you need to balance that out with some NHL players too. It would be cool to add a player like Martin Pospisil, or someone in that mold.
Nope.. our grinders need to be homegrown, willing to bleed Bleu Blanc Rouge.. an effective 4th line needs to be created with huge players willing to put their bodies on the line for the club. This cant be bought.

It's really quite simple:
Top 6: elite players
Bottom 6: drafted players who are all in, with 2 or 3 players able to take their job.

If a team needs to "acquire" a bottom 6 player, that means their farm system is horrendous.

Top 6F, top 4D 1G.. 11 players can be bought. The rest MUST be made up of organizational development.

Watching the Jets players reaction after the Scheifele hit compared to the Habs reaction after the Carrier hit shows you exactly what this team has been lacking for years.

Proud of this team. We are in the rigth tracks.

We need two players for our second line
We need bigger meaner players
We need some tweaks on defence.
Year 3 paid dividends...........but it also changed the expectations.
We will be better next year, with adding a few bodies this summer.

We are definitely moving forward nicely.
Looking forward to hearing from HuGo to review the year, and talk about the offseason.

Wilson of all people..............says the habs were playing cheap!! LOL

How would he know, he was so busy diving!! lol
Wilson took the diving champ away from Tim-eh Stutzle....
What a paper tiger....
An old deflection technique that politicians use — always accuse your opponent of what you’ve been doing. Wilson’s annoying on ice antics continue off of it, how surprising.

It could not have happened to a better guy lol. I was just referring to the fact that not a single player went after Wilson after the hit and I don't care how big he is.

Except they did go after Wilson and they have been going after players all season. Anderson wanted to fight Wilson right after the hit, but Wilson rejected the fight.

The hit also seemed cleaned unlike the Schenn hit on Scheifele which was very dirty. The moment in the game and who it was against (star player vs non-star player) was very different as well. The blues hit was in the 1st period, and the Wilson hit was in the middle of the 3rd with the habs being up by 1. The habs taking a retaliation penalty just for revenge would have not been worth it at all.
