4 out of 5 games we left it all on the ice. We're young, we lacked depth, but if I'm being honest, outside Thompson, I think we had the best player on the ice with Hutson through all 5 games. He was incredible.

Top three guys this series: Thompson, Hutson, Wilson.

I think MSL is a great coach and I expect us to battle for a WC again next year. I think our PP with Hutson all year will be hard to keep out of the playoffs. Just need the pieces to go deeper.

Great year, fun to watch, and hopefully Reinbacher is ready for the big time!!

The takeaway from this series is that the Habs need a true #2 center and #2 left wing. They also need a #2 right-handed defenseman, and they need to get bigger.

defense is the priority imo.

As a Leafs fan, this is the first time I’ve ever gone out of my way to watch the Habs.

Too bad Washington pulled it out, but I’m envious of the quality and youth of the Habs core, next year will be fun to watch.

Not a playoff team

I disagree, we have plenty of elements to create something okish and be competitive. Even on the Defensive side, Mailloux could have played, Beck could have been used this series.

We could have split the 1st line and create 2 duos, immediately after the 1st game, we could have Put Demi on the first PP from the start. Laine should have been healthy scratch 2 weeks ago.

The coach simply lacked the courage to take action. This series could have been alot closer.
