It’s another thing to not bother putting in a lick of effort the last two weeks.

I mean come on, a team desperate to make the playoffs has 6 shots in two periods like 3x the last week.

They look drained both mentally and physically. Is it frustrating? Yeah it is. But it come with the territory it's a team that isn't fully ready for the big show yet.

Nazar with a goal, an assist & SO winner. Like I said in Romanov thread, when we moved up to #13 I thought it was to take Nazar. The trade for Romanov was fine.

It was then trading that pick for Dach when Nazar was still on the board.... Imagine Nazar as our 2nd line center.

Nazar is a midget. No way they would have taken him.

The lack of urgency in these games is quite frustrating. How they could work so hard to get here and then let it slip away is beyond me. I get they are tired but still, its hard to watch. They basically stopped playing after it was 2-0, no excuse to lose this game with the stakes on the line, at home and with a lead

I hope someone asks Marty what the thought process of not sending out Demidov for the shootout was, everybody and his dog knew it was the right move.

His answer would be that Laine and Caufield have two of the highest shooting perecentages in league history. Laine's 25th and CC's 54th.

Suzuki's pretty good in the shootout too at 36 percent. If you're going to bench somebody it would be him. Does it make sense to do that? I don't think so.

However of the two: Dach was worth the gamble. It didnt work out as he is nowhere near a legit 2C (maybe in a few years). Id like to see him reinvent himself as a 3Winger.. if he can't show it next year, just cut him loose.

Probably the most pathetic effort I've ever seen from a habs team. The 2nd worst team in the f***ing league. Their Defence is younger than most NCAA teams, pathetic.
