Laine should have shot again. If they go back to an earlier point in the game where a goal was scored but play continued they reset the clock to the moment of the goal and everything else that happened after the goal doesn’t count. Same should have applied to the shootout if they were going to do what they did.

This is 100% what's happening. I love Suzuki with all my might but having our captain be so young doesn't help in this regard.
