It looks like Nylander rejoined the Marlies for a post-injury rehab game.

And I have to admit, pure sarcasm, I really do enjoy seeing all of our small Toronto forwards being pushed around and knocked down at will by the Montreal D.

One final observation: Glad Nick can use a quick release because until that goal I swear I've never seen another hockey player load up as much as he does on every shot. Kind of like a hockey version of Mark McGwire trying to hit every single pitch into the upper deck.

It's more in his head at this point I think. He just needs the confidence and he'll get going. He has a really good shot but forsure at times it needs to be quicker. Big difference in the NHL.

A penalty doesn't make a player useless, especially in a game where he's actually been really good.

When your hate for a player reaches irrational levels, you're trying too hard.

Aside from his goal what has he done well? He's been invisible. He's not an NHLer but has some NHL tools (shot)

He's been involved offensively more than just his goal. 3 shots on net, which leads the team (so far).

But hey, you'll believe what you want.
