I have a feeling Habs really like Sykora. Seems to fit the type of player Hughes has mentioned he'd like to build with. Speedy player with strong hockey IQ and good skills who is very good defensively. If scouts at the European combine provide positive feedback on his character and what he's like as a person, I don't see him getting past our #33 pick. He's one of those late riser types that often sneak into the 1st round.

Rumour is that he will be taken first overall in the CHL import draft by Medicine Hat and be in the WHL next year. Weak team, so his role should be pretty large
