Not a steady from Dobes but unlike Monty made the biggest saves when needed. Not the big save when you are down 5-3

Slafs best game this yr. Had some poor touches but overall, using size, going to net, physical. Its exactly how he needs to play. People need to realize it wont be pretty what he does that will make him a great player. He will never be the flash like some just associate as a great player

When he crushed that guy behind the net, it made me sit up and notice. He hasn't done that nearly enough -- you're 6'3, 225+ dude. You're a horse. Act like it.

He definitely was tonight. I agree with you he doesn't have to be flashy but I don't give a rat's ass about that. Be a Josh Anderson who scores a little more and I'll be more than happy.

Yup, that was a great game, very entertaining for sure! Not gonna lie, I thought the fairy dust on both the team and Dobes had started to fade a bit after the early goals against. You could also tell Dobes was rattled a bit, especially after those 2 shots that hit the post in the 3rd, he thought he was beat. But he came up HUGE in the OT, you love to see that.

1st line is BACK! They were cooking all night and Slaf really found his game again. This guy in his prime will be a treat to watch every night.

Laine was a bit frustrating to watch all game, but the big OT goal made up for it. Can't wait for Demidov to replace Newhook on that line!

Also, Hutson is a freaking gamer man, the guy wants to win baaad, and I feel like he's the type of player that goes to another level in the playoffs, kinda like Suzuki. I hope we get to see it this year, GHG!!!

Damn Guhle is becoming quite a General in our D core. Great shut down, good on PK, can help the offense and he hits like a mother f***er. Plays with an edge when the time comes. The sky's the limit in what he can accomplish.
