725 300 Habs fans. Watched the game. Montreal Canadiens vs Florida Panthers. On TV. During April 1th 2025.
Do I have this right? Monty has faced the 2nd most expected goals. Only Shesterkin has more. Also, when it comes to goals allowed compared to expected goals, he has a better record than average goalies like Helleybuck, Shesterkin, Thompson.
Thank Vegas Suzuki isn't what Bergevin wantedI'd like to thanks Marc Bergevin for the Pacioretty trade.
Nick was just a project at the time and Tatar gave us some good years.
Captain Suzy is now a clutch player at 25, and our leader on a mission.
I saw a replay of the end of the game on Canadiens Express and the number of baffling, facepalm, wtf plays that Matheson makes in the last 1:40 or so of that game is insane. It's absolutely comical. Easier to laugh about given the result.I can't believe the pass he made to casper.
The solution actually was to shut it down too , which is how you win those games .Seems like it was the Panthers shutting down the Habs. Cause the games before the Habs had won cause of their speed. MSL had no solutions until super-kid saved his butt.
Cody Glass would have been a nightmare.................Bergevin got lucky they said no to his target.Thank Vegas Suzuki isn't what Bergevin wanted
Also thank Patch for refusing the trade to LA. Vilardi is a good player but don't think it would have worked in MontrealThank Vegas Suzuki isn't what Bergevin wanted

I was looking for that on the tying goal when I realized Dvorak wasn't even on the ice. Suzuki was the one who took the draw on his weak side and obviously won it.I have a serious question... did Dvorak smile during the celebration yesterday?
LOL I keep checking the replays to make sure the puck still goes in.We are going to remember this game for a long time. What the Habs executed with 20 seconds left with a faceoff not in the opposing zone is the equivalent of executing a hail Mary in football.
For me, it's a once every 25 year kind of event to have such a late faceoff outside the zone and to tie the game.
The last time the Habs did something similar was in Tampa on a goal scored by Doug Gilmour. Which would have been around 2001 or 2002.
