Suzuki and Hudson rightfully getting their props but the whole Dvorak line was really good again tonight. If we make the playoffs, I believe those two are going to level up.
And much more injury-resistant than Koivu and anyone else on the team. As they say: the best ability is availability.I just dont have words for Suzuki
Koivu was my favourite growing up but just reminds me of him
Quiet, respected, gives 100 percent, calm and composed
Everything you want in a player
Not just 70, he could reach the no 2 all time points for a rookie defenseman. I don't think he can get 76 though.Lane has a shot at 70 points.
They need to start assessing for hockey sense and resilience much more. Scouts have no antennas able to pick it up, let alone quantify it.5'9 162lbs guy is making the league look silly. It doesn't make sense.
It's a game of optimal deployment.Imagine if Matheson drilled that shot in and it’s 3-1 Panthers. We would have an whole other PGT discussion
Game of inches they say.
Apples have had a bad rep since Genesis.God I hate that term for some reason.
And deploy both hands like a virtuoso. There's just no way you can play Savard again. He was catastrophic. Live with Xhekaj's bad pinches and reads, at least he can skate.
I'm just a dreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeamer I dream to see them play. I'm just a dreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeAmer winning the Stanley cup!!
Always a quagmire to compare players from different eras and playing at different positions, but Ken Dryden has to be in the conversation, winning the Conn Smythe before earning the Calder the following season — something that no player has ever done in NHL history.I have been watching the Habs religiously since 1971 and I have never seen a Habs rookie have a season like Hutson. Amazing, simply amazing.
Gui Latendress was something special too.Always a quagmire to compare players from different eras and playing at different positions, but Ken Dryden has to be in the conversation, winning the Conn Smythe before earning the Calder the following season — something that no player has ever done in NHL history.
Dryden was originally drafted by the Boston Bruins in 1964 but ditched the opportunity by deciding to pursue a degree at Cornell, until the Habs came calling.
when we're playing like crap I'm just bored for some Demidov. who does he replace on the pp1 at half year? caufield or laine. Can’t wait for Demidov to join and make a 3 man assault of Demi, Huston and Suzuki
