best captain since? ...
As an old fart, I can confirm Suzuki is rightfully surpassing Kirk Muller as a capt now; not yet in the Carboneau and Gainey category, but I can easily imagine he’ll get there sooner than later.
The most ironic thing is that maybe our best captain in over 30 years was traded for probably the worst captain we ever had

Jeez... Imagine if we had a good coach :sarcasm:

Back to back wins vs the Panthers at this time of the season is pretty damn impressive for any team, let alone for one with a roster as thin on veteran talent as ours is absolutely epic.

If we get in to the playoffs, MSL will rightfully be a Jack Adams finalist. Book it.

Oh man, what a game. What an ending. We were 9 seconds away from a regulation loss & ended up with an OTW because Nick Suzuki & Lane Hutson are just other worldly.

Hutson had another 3 assist game. He's incredible. Suzuki, WOW, he's gone into super star mode. We are so lucky to have these 2 players.

And next season, Demidov is coming. Future is beyond bright in Montreal. These kids are gamers.

Tons of criticism in GDT about the team, but the boys played a solid game. Suzuki line was up against the Barkov line all game & beat them again. We need Caufield to start scoring.

Montembeault made several huge saves in 3rd period.

Suzuki 25g, 79 pts now.
Hutson 5g 57 a for 62 pts.

HUGE 2 POINTS. We stay in WC2.
