Post-Game Talk: Habs defeat the little cubs.

Solid game against a crappy team. These are never easy though.

Maybe it's the wine talking, but Suzuki is starting to remind me a bit of Yzerman.

Guhle was solid, been playing great since his return. I argued that he was not an untouchable, but he is starting to make me rethink this.

GHG!
That Guhle and Hutson pairing has my plums tingling. They could do wonderful things together

The Kyle McLaren - Richard Zednik era was awesome for the Habs-Bruins rivalry. The best games and seasons are when those 2 teams are close, not when one of them completely obliterates the other one.
I was at that Kyle McLaren - Richard Zednik game. My first playoff game ever. The tension in that building was crazy that night. Some guy went over the glass and out onto the ice in a break. Crowd wanted "justice".

Habs top line is the most productive in the league since the 4 nations, they are also great over 200 ft. The Gally Dvorak Anderson line is really solid as well, the vets line is doing an amazing job. Now I just hope we can have a 3-4 pts lead so we can slot Kapanen in and see what he can do, if ever Kapanen has an impact right off the bat and we enter the playoffs with 3 dangerous lines, watch out, I wouldnt like to face the Habs in the 1st round!

Having lost 9 straight and playing against a hated rival, I really thought that Boston was going to bring more than that. They have totally checked out.

I don't think they have a long rebuild though. They'll probably have a similar one as the Habs. The top 5 pick they'll get this year is going to be a very good player.

About the game though, hated the first, but completely dominated after that, that was really good to see. They have to do the same thing against Philly too. GHG!!!
Isn’t this a weak ass draft?

I always thought he was near untouchables cause he is our most well rounded D. Physical, determined, but also can help relaunch the attack. I even considered making him our Captain. But his injuries have become an issue. Hopefully if we make it to the playoffs, he won't get injured.

That 2002 team had a special aura to it. It’s to bad the wheels fell completely off seemingly out of nowhere in the 2nd round against Carolina.
