The Habs didn't have a great game, but they looked like the much better team, which is bound to happen when facing a team that has 3 legit NHLers on defense, none of which should be playing above #4 on the depth chart.

Dominated the 2nd period, shot 17-2 Swayman was the only reason the score was not 5-6 nothing after two periods.

The Bruins do suck on D and F..............all they have is Swayman and Pasta.

Its not just you. This is what happens when the game is out of reach well before the end of regulation.

The games against ottawa, colorado, and florida at home were much different in that sense and were extraordinary theatre.

I feel terrible for Xhekaj. If he was the one to have played the same first period that Strouble played yesterday, he would have been benched. Not only Strouble played again, but was still struggling all game. He was over carried by Hutson in that strech and it shows.

Maybe if he would have played in Boston university or known Hughes since he youth, he would get the same treatment as Stuble.

We’re about to make a big mistake this summer. Easier to replace the impact of Struble than Xhekaj’s.

I disagree, Struble was very good yesterday outside of 1 turnover. Savard was the worst player on the ice tho.

Xhekaj is a bottom pairing D and he sat because Struble has been better. Savard should've been the one scratched but it is what it is. The victimhood around X is laughable. He's not the centre of the universe and MSL doesn't hate him.

None of Struble or Xhekaj can play RD. So Savard gone doesnt mean shit for both of them beside the fact that they doesnt have to play with the whale anymore
