Let's face it, team defense is wet crap. This new management is focusing on offense. That has always been their plan. Problem with that is that we don't have the talent to be a great offensive team.
There's a reason why all previous coaches for the past 20 years always played a very defensive system. They didn't have elite talent up front so easier to teach a stifling defensive system then an all out offensive system and easier to win 2-1 then 6-5.
When this team gets an elite forward things may change for the better, until then, you need to focus on team defence.
I'm sorry but having 40 goals and 40 assists and being a -35 is not satisfactory... at least not for me.
