Post-Game Talk: Habs defeat les Sénateurs d'Ottawa

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Turds board is salty. A couple of unhinged posters making fun of our roster when their top point getter is a diving german ballerina who would lose a fight against a 12 year old :laugh:
They don't seem to realize they lost 3 times in a row against them this year and are only 4 points up. Let's not even talk about the difference between both teams prospect pools(or Laval vs Belleville)

I like how Nick look pissed off in his locker room interview. He knows he did not play his best hockey and he knows that it's far from over and that there is a lot of hard work to do before getting into the playoffs.

This guy is a true humble winner. He totally is our captain. He wants nothing short of excellence and long term success
The funny thing is you can't say his line got out-played the goal they gave up was a bad read by Savard and Xhekaj who gave up the line far too easily. So yeah they struggled to create many clean opportunitties but I thought they generated more than they gave up over all. Guess what that resembles playoff hockey where many nights the top lines cancel each other out and it's the special teams and the bottom lines who decide the outcome.

Making fun of a roster up 3-0 over you on the season, with a rookie defenseman putting up arguably the best rookie defenseman campaign of the century, with the top NHL affiliated prospect on the planet a few months away and a top 3 goalie prospect on the planet a year or 2 away. They must laugh when they're nervous.

I don't know if Habs will make the playoffs, but damm, I'm so happy to see that type of progression by this team.

Imagine doing that without Demidov, Hage, Reinbacher and Fowler. (And more like Kapanen, Beck, Xhekaj, etc...)

Maybe playoffs this year, but I'm certainly sure that with Demidov and acquiring a great top 6 C, this team will be make playoffs next year easily.

If we don't have loses a lot before the break, we would be ahead of Ottawa right now haha!

Once Guhle is back, MSL better keep Arber in that lineup on the third pair. I prefer Xhekaj than Struble playing 14-15 minutes while providing that intimidation factor. Especially if we ends up against WSH.
I like struble but let’s not pretend he’s not getting carried just a little by Hutson. Savard is drowning X lol 😆

Agreed 100%

Struble is a tough guy but Wifi can turn into a psycho
No argument, but currently, as far as playing defense, Struble is outplaying Arbs. And I am the biggest Xhekaj fanboy. Maybe he needs a different partner. I mean, Savard, besides eating pucks on PK, isn't being very good. But for now, St Louis has to go with what works. We have to keep on that WC2 spot. I want hockey in later April, FFS!
