Post-Game Talk: Habs defeat les Sénateurs d'Ottawa

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
I am so happy for guys like Gally and Andy to get rewarded. They’ve embraced their reduced roles and checked their egos at the door for the team and haven’t complained once.

Andy has totally revamped his game and is such a useful player for us in his 3rd line checking role. You really see how effective and necessary he is in these playoff style games.
It's amazing what can happen when you give a player a raison d'etre.
Anderson is now playing the role we signed him for in the first place.
Had he spent his entire time here playing this game only Natey would have been complaining. :sarcasm:

We needed secondary scoring and that line came up huge. Big props to them

Dvorak seems to have discovered he had another gear all these years and never used it. I have never seen him skating as fast as he does since the break.

Gally is playing some inspired hockey too.

Glad Josh got rewarded tonight because the effort has been there all season long.

Brady is scared of Xhekaj. This game made it obvious for me. The fact that no one went after him after his hit says a lot

Tony marinaro and Brian Wilde actually talked about this very subject yesterday. Brian said he's scared of xhekaj and Tony foolishly said, "Brady isnt scared of anybody" 🤡

I could be completely barking up the wrong tree, I thought the effort he gave on pressuring the puck right before the third Ottawa goal was extremely lazy, he did have a few decent chances offensively I give you that.
I honestly have had no issue with his game without the puck since being called up. Most of the time he's at the right spot to disrupt the play or remove options in the neutral zone

Ill happily eat crow if that line discovers another gear and gets us into the post season.
