The fact that it WAS Popsicle made it all that much more enjoyable.Pity me, I had to do both.
Kadri smoking his own team mate was the highlight for me.

"Monty has proven nothing"? ...So about what...3 years into rebuild Habs still need lines 2-4, at least 3 dmen and Monty has proven nothing either. Oy.
I thought it was one his better games. Xhekaj has now firmly established himself as a top 4 defenceman on this team.I think arber played a pretty good game
Suzuki was excellent.I really thought Suzuki was dominant out there tonight.
He should have had 3 points minimum and easily 5 points if we could finish.
It’s also partly a reflection of the difficulty of our schedule. Despite that difficulty we have remained competitive in most of those games including, last night, where we played well enough to have earned a better fate.So we 5-10-3 since Monahan by my calculations
From an undrafted COSTCO employee to a top four NHL defenceman who possesses a 107 MPH slap shot and is now one of the most feared physical presences in the league: that is what ‘legends’ are made of.Suzuki was excellent.
Also, I must say I don't quite understand the legendary status Xekaj has attained on this board. He's a package of interesting tools, but nothing more at this point.
In last night’s game against the Flames, the Canadiens generally dominated the play for large segments when we had our first line on the ice. A lot of that domination and puck control had to do with Caufield’s incredible level of skill and compete effort.Caufield good shot and goal scorer but gives up a lot of goals also. Sometimes I don't know if he is positive to team or negative. Combined with his size. The turnovers and out of position
Xhekaj-Ghule pre-game ritual.

Most folks on here couldn't wait to see him go. He was due a big raise and wasn't producing all that well. Can't have it both ways.Argh. Watching Lekhy. What a bad trade that was. Maybe we can get him back when teams ready to compete again.
Yoel has never been the same since. Most folks on here couldn't wait to see him go. He was due a big raise and wasn't producing all that well. Can't have it both ways.
I don't disagree that this is shaping up to be a really bad trade. Barron is proving he can't play defense.Yoel has never been the same since.
I was disappointed primeau let that cross crease pass just slide by. Goalie is the 5th stick on the pk and he needs to be more aggressive with his stick. Hope his coach noticed. He will learn.Damn just when we think we have something in Primeau a player like Wolf upstages him BADLY.
Please mention the players name if the post you are responding to does not. No idea whom you’re talking about.I think a lot of it is just circumstance he scored a number of goals early this season.
He's in and out of the line-up plays 3rd pairing minutes or less while typically being used against lesser opposition.
He makes a lot of very bad plays that don't end up in our net. That is what I call living a charmed existence.
He would play every night if he was actually good.
Just my take.
Yeah I never complain about reffing but that was a really bad call.Incredible goalie interference call on Slafkovsky that completely changed the game. Really legit. Great reffing there

you don't know if Caufield is a positive to the team? c'mon man, i think that's the worst take I've seen all seasonCaufield good shot and goal scorer but gives up a lot of goals also.
