There’s a good Guns song called Patience. Listen to it and relax.

In the meantime, let’s get some vets on the blue line, some kids are getting butchered and it’s certainly not good and fair for them.
Do you see progression from last season? For how long will you be content with loserdom? Will you hold the same opinion when they are already out of playoff in early january?

You are correct. The usual suspects can't wait to shit all over everything... and many screamed that we needed a rebuild for years.

All that being said... I expected us to be better. I expected some rust with Dach but he's been so, so bad. And we just can't afford to have him sink because we don't have the depth to make up for it. And we're already running into the stupid injury bug again. It ain't good.

Still really early in the season. Still time to turn it around. But if Dach doesn't recover somewhat it's going to be a long season.
I expected us to be better too but that was with the assumption that the vets would be "good". Dvorak has been awful. Like right now he's not even a good 4th line center. I mean like half the centers in the AHL would be an upgrade over him. Like i said in a previous post i like Savard but he has been trash. I think Matheson is worse than last year defensively. Mario Armia is hibernating again. Anderson and Gallagher are meh again i mean Gallagher had a good 2nd half last year but like he's not bad but he's not great either. Goalies has been trash outside of two starts from Monty. The dead wood is not only dead it's literally fossilized now. On top of that Newhook has reverted back to Avs newhook and he's not really a kid anymore. Probably the first trade by KH that i would call bad.

If I didn’t have the Yankees right now I think I’d legitimately need to go to the hospital
Get your hospital bag ready ... the Dodgers are a good team.

"The Dodgers (-130) are the current betting favorites to win the World Series, according to BetMGM Sportsbook. The underdog Yankees are at +110."

Habs legends must be so freaking disgusted. What an embarrassing loss.

It's clear the team is bad, they were bad last year too, but they look like they've regressed. I want MSL to succeed, but it's starting to look like Ducharme hockey right now, and we all know Ducharme had completely lost the room. I'm not saying the guys have tuned out MSL, but it's not looking good.
I don't think so.

I think they understand this is a really young team finding it's way.

Hate Trouba but that's 100% on Barron for dropping his head down a foot right before contact.

the fact that he hit his head? Maybe, but the problem here is that he was *going for a hit to hurt a guy after a little kerfuffle around his goalie*. It's not a hockey play, he's a well known headhunter who was hunting heads and (this time) accidentally did hit a head. He was going in to hurt a guy regardless

No coach is winning anything with that defense. Our first pairing is Matheson-Barron, think about this. Then we have Savard who's pretty much done, Hutson and Mailloux who are less than 10 games into their careers, and Struble, another young guy. Stop the nonsense about the coach. St-Louis is one of the the best things we got. Our only functional defenseman is Ghule, who's injured, and also very young.

We are finshing in the bottom 5 again, and probably next year again. This is what happens to rebuilding teams, it takes time, more than you think, and it hurts.
This team is going nowhere before we get 3 healthy reliable minute munching defensemen. If we still don't have them in the system and Demidov becomes a superstar, we'll trade for one but in the meantime we are in for a few more years of this...
