I hate whining about officiating but tonight refs were brutally bad.

Jake Allen was fantastic.
Suzuki and CC were not good tonight. Their worst 2 games this season were both in Detroit.
Dach , on the other hand, was pretty good.

Dadonov and JD surely did not help their causes.

Another great game by Savard.

Overall, not a good game by Montreal but they battled .
PK was great while pretty much never exiting our zone.

Honestly, I try not to pick on him because enough people do that already. But Drouin is really allergic to physical contact. Lots of time, people tend to stereotype players and exaggerate how they shy away from the physical game. Drouin avoids it before it even gets to him. He won't even touch pucks if he knows someone's going to be closing in on him.

Slick Nick & Goal Caufield - what beauts. They're freaking scary in shootouts.

Drouin's move absolutely worked. Husso was beat out of his ass. Just no hands anymore from Drou. He couldn't get it up high enough.

PK was monstrous tonight. Eddie, Savard & Kovacevic were just workaholics out there. Blocked a ton of shots. Helped that Kubalik shot way wide 100% of the time.

Solid game by Montreal. This is a hard working group.

Hoping Slafkovsky isn't suspended, but if he is, it gives him time to work on his game again. Really liked him with Money that needs to be full-time.

Fun game to watch even if refs sucked balls.

Pk needs to be able to get the puck out of the zone. So many chances to clear.

To the posters who want to get rid of Hoffman. You should be doing cartwheels over the fact he scored two goals tonight. Infact, you should be praying to the hockey gods that he continues this trend lol
Yeah he came out up one in this one after totally missing his man coming off the bench for Detroit's second goal. He needs to stay on that side of the ledger. :D

Out of all the media guys on covering Habs games on TV, Guy Boucher is one of the smarter ones... but I totally dislike his coaching philosophy. He's all about defense, safe plays, safe and steady grinders (ask Pyatt). He's constantly chirping about lack of defensive structure. He hated Caufield last year and I bet you he still doesn't like him deep inside. But as long as 22 scores, he can't say anything.

Thank god Hugues didn't hire him!

Great game. Very entertaining!
We did not look good. The D did not look good except Guhle having a bright moment in OT and Kocacevic with a few good poke checks. Our asses were saved by Allen. Drouin looked lost, and couldn’t keep the puck. And in the OT, we could not get the puck out of our end. When there was forechecking we looked like panicked children. The good part was the SO where Caufield and Suzuki looked like total pros.

Can't believe Toronto and Edmonton didn't go hard after Allen. What a bunch of donkeys.
Kept saying that last year and people laughed at the idea that he was a better playoff option than Mike Smith and whatever shit goalie Leafs had in net at the time... And now he's still here, ruining our tank.

Look everyone, the Habs are back playing .500!

I'm pretty sure they will stick in the .450-.550 range all season long. That should be right out of a lottery pick or wildcard spot.

Also, throw Drouin somewhere he can rebuild his mental, the guy is totally done for right now and nothing is going his way to make him feel better.

Well he’s saying what anyone could see in this game.

6-1 in powerplays plus the 10 minute misconduct?

Believe it's ok to mention it.

Cool they hung with it tonight.

Send Drouin to the ranch.
