Dobes is amazing so far . What a start in the NHL. He looks intimidating in the net.

Gutsy performance by the guys. After 10 minutes I thought it was going to end in a blowout but the guys turned it around. Blackwood was also very good tonight.

The only negative thing was the freaking 4 on 3.
I don't know why we are more often than not awful in these situations.

Low scoring game but still entertaining.
Hated the reffing though.

Wins against Panthers, Lighting, Golden Knights and Avs on the same trip is unreal.

Too bad we lost the only 2 games we were expected to win.

We still don’t have Roy beck and demidov in the line up. We trending in the right direction.

Yeah, they are. Don't want to get too excited as the team still lacks depth is just one injury from being out of the race, but with Laine in the lineup, every game is a potential win.

Great post game interview by Dobes. Didn't know he was that smart and articulate.

What a performance by Dobes. Kid is f***ing cocky, too. I love it!!

Montreal played great hockey after the 1st period. Fantastic game by the D, including Matheson. He had some epic moments on the PK. He played 28 minutes on a back-to-back.

Guhle was also really solid & physical.

Colorado 6 game win streak? Over.

Colorado 16-0-0 when leading after 2? Not anymore.

4-2 on the Christmas road trip!

It's fun to watch this team. A totally gutsy win.

Ngl, Dobes looked a bit like Price in the shootout, especially that first save on Drouin where he just threw the puck back on the ice. He looks good man.

The guys dug deep, and the best players came through, that's good to see.

Slaf deserved to get benched, the first line looked much better with 7th rounder Jake Evans on it. Slaf needs to wake up, the team needs him the same way they needed Dach to wake up.

Also, I understand MSL rolled 3 lines, but why is it Heineman that ends up getting screwed?? He easily could've played in Gally or Newhook's spot.

When Laine comes back, I say they put him with Suzuki. Dach has finally woken up and shown he can drive his line.

In. The. Mix baby! GHG!!!

I have watched Dobes play every AHL start and after Christmas last season he was as good as any Goalie in the AHL. Folks kept glossing over him and talking about Fowler (who is a great prospect) and i kept telling people not to write him off. In Laval he showed athleticism, fiestiness and solid puck handling skills. Can he keep this up? I don't know but one thing is for sure...I would not bet against him.
