This was an awful team from top to bottom. Did I hear it right the Bedard was used as a 13th forward? Goalie was awful. Everyone was awful. Coaching was a joke. Maybe Suzuki saw the roster and coaches and said "thanks no thanks'. Good call. What a shame.

On the other hand, this was Tavares' team so it performed just as expected.

Canada really needs to look into not making Leafs players the captain or they'll never win gold again. First Minten for the World Jr team and now Tavares for the WC team.

I was some impressed by Cozens bursts of speed. He was blowing by Swiss dmen including Josi.

Yeah, I would have kept Celebrini and Fantilli. Let the young guys play. Did we really need McBain? Probably not. Mercer didn't do much & had an overall difficult year.

That's the one thing that's completely on them IMO. They did the best they could with the guys who went, but a couple talented kids like that would have brought more to the table than some of the vets.

Canada has always been like that, inviting veterans over young players because they don’t want to rock the boat. This tournament should be an opportunity to develop the young generation for the next “meaningful” tournaments.

Another goal for Cozens. I've been very impressed with him this tournament. Racking up the goals and he can really fly...especially for a big guy. He's been Canada's best player and seems to be everywhere on the ice.
