Recalled/Assigned: Gustav Lindstrom Placed on Waivers (Claimed by Anaheim)

A number of claims in the last week or so (Bjornfot, Megna, Sandford, earlier Reilly). Mostly guys like Lindstrom who have cleared before. Just the timing, teams are banged up right now. If the Habs need a body, they may claim someone themselves.

Edit: Opened up a spot to add Filip Cedarqvist for Laval. Sounds like he's probably headed for Europe next season.

Figured he'd get claimed. The bottom line on this is that Montreal gave Petry and retained 2.3 m for this season and next season and got Lindstrom and a 4th rounder, and now Lindstrom is gone. Steep price for a 4th imo.
