Meh, even if he doesn't it's not really a big deal.
I could see a team taking him because they're desperate for a Dman, but he could clear. I don't mind him but he is the most expendable.

I think they're doing this to open up a roster spot because I imagine RHP will be activated from IR while at the same time, having Lindstrom go to Laval to play since he's been scratched for a long time.
Hopefully he's claimed and then they deal Savard and call up Arber

He's a good depth player to have around, but I won't lose sleep if he's claimed.
This open a slot on the roster of 23 men. Which allows Heineman to stay up once RHP comes back soon, then Heineman is sent down once Pearson comes back.

I doubt this organization decides to roll with Kovacevic and Barron as our most experienced RD.Hopefully he's claimed and then they deal Savard and call up Arber
Most people think Savard is a next year move.
If someone dangles a first who knows but I'm skeptical that will happen.

I think he gets picked up...He is a serviceable 6-7.
I wonder why the Habs changed there mind there. They apparently kept him up because they believed he was going to be taken if waived. Something that shouldn't have changed 12 games later...

I'd rather trade one of the vets, but it doesn't really matter when we have a terrible coach anyway.
Losing Lidstrom, if claimed, won't make me lose any sleep. But I find it shocking you couldn't get a late round draft pick for him, at the very least. He's been fairly solid in his chances this year.
