He might go to Flint because he basically grew up and played his hockey in Michigan. I think his dad still has a home in the Detroit area.

Merkely 5 goals and 34 assists this season. Now he is the Petes leading scorer. He's a plus 5. Why exactly are Guelph fans happy to see him go?
I totally agree with you numbersguy! Watch Guelph activate now and do what OHL fans thought the Storm would do all season. It's a great day for the Storm.

He's a huge defensive liability - he passes the puck in front of his own net too much, sloppy defensive plays that end up in the back of the net. He gets frustrated easily and chirps the refs/bangs his stick. It's been said he doesn't listen to coaches/does his own thing.
He's a kid who I hope gets some help and figures his stuff out.
He will definitely put up the assists and you'll love watching his creativity on thr power play.
