He has had a tough time adjusting to Vancouver but there is still potential there.

Vancouver could add to him if its a little too lopsided.

Erik Gudbranson has been riding the promise of potential to successive NHL contracts since he entered the league. No thanks.

Not even close to interested.

JVR has 19 points in 23 games. Gudbranson has 3.

Because Gudbranson can be judged by his point totals..

But still, this isn't close for Toronto. I do this as a Canucks fan easily

Using points to compare value of a top 6 forward and a defensive defenseman:shakehead

(Not saying Gudbranson is worth more)

I mean, that's kind of the point. Gudbranson has no offensive upside whatsoever, so I would think that we're not interested in trading JVR for him.

It's to acquire a need that's why Edmonton moves Hall for Larsson. No chance Larsson outscores Hall but it was still a good trade for them

Bad trade for the leafs.

The Canucks would only want JVR in a lop-sided trade like this. Otherwise, JVR is too old for the rebuild.

Have they even accepted that a rebuild is necessary yet? As for the OP, obviously awful for TO.
