Canucks Army is reporting that Allvin is slowly moving the goalposts in any Miller trade.
Before now, he was holding out for players coming back who could help this current version of the Canucks 'win now'. But reality may be setting in. Contending teams that want Miller, can't afford to give up valuable pieces on their roster.
So it's looking more and more like it'll be picks and prospects coming back for Miller--much the same kind of return they got for Horvat......although Beauvillier was considered a serviceable middle six winger when he arrived.
If the Canucks continue to flounder into February and heading to towards the TDL, they may run up the white flag on the season and bring in a few top prospects in exchange for Miller. It least it would offer some hope down the road.
