He could be giving middle finger to people all game and nobody should give a shit. But can they get him to smile?
LOL. Are you saying that all centers have to play like that? Tell that to Leon Draisaitl or Conor McDavid or JT Miller for that matter. Having EP as a net front presence and tipping pucks in is a totally asinine way to deploy him. He's not even particularly good at tipping pucks.Makes sense.. so we need a winger that plays like a center in the ozone so petey can play like a winger
I just cant see pettersson being worth thisPower, Kulich + 2025 1st for EP.
I don't think we're on different pages re Power. I would have no problem with him being the main piece coming back in a trade for Pettersson.....I just don't think Cozens should also be heading west in that deal. And again, this is what we very often see with high-pick, high-profile young defenders. Especially bigger ones. They break in and wow everyone as rookies with their physical tools in soft minutes and then as the leverage gets bumped up they have a few seasons where they just eat shit and struggle and everyone says they're overrated ... and then they come out the other side at age 24-26.
Power is a massive talent. #1 overall pick, should have won the Calder two years ago. He's going to be a very, very good defender for a very long time. Right now will probably end up being the low point of his career.
I agree but that’s what I’d ask.I just cant see pettersson being worth this
Buf has three less wins than van tbfGoing from 'I want to win' to Buffalo would be pretty funny.

wth were u watching. bryam was the 2nd best defender behind makar during their cup run. it helps to have two pairs with puck moving ability.Any defenceman meant to be a significant piece in a package for Pettersson needs to be at least a solid 3D and able to survive a Stanley cup playoff run.
I don’t think Bryam checks both of those boxes.
How often do 26 year old 100 point centers come available? You’re probably right but some terms might be willing to go all in for himI just cant see pettersson being worth this
Trying to trade for a former #1 pick is a fool's errand. Teams just don't give up on these high pick players until the music stops playing. Buffalo's fans would be absolutely outraged and for good reason.
Thanks - I am seeing some criticism of Power from Sabres fans online (here, reddit). Is he actually playing poorly or just not meeting the expectations of a 1OA making a top pairing salary?
What's going on with Power/Byram? Seems like two guys Sabres fans should be defending with their lives in trade talks (as every fanbase does with their prospects) yet they seem perfectly happy to part with either one, and maybe even both.
I know Byram has the concussion concerns but Power seems like a guy they should want to keep? What gives?
Toews played far more than Byram.wth were u watching. bryam was the 2nd best defender behind makar during their cup run. it helps to have two pairs with puck moving ability.
Buffalo could currently take on Pettersson cap hit without moving a penny off the books.Cozens would be a part of any trade with the Sabres because of salary. Canucks would probably want a young prospect C as well which the Sabres have tons of.
Cozens + Bryam + Helenius/Kulich is my guess.
While Power is certainly enticing, I wouldn't complain about Byram, though in that situation the add would be Cozens + 1st. If Power is included I'm not sure the Sabres throw in a 1st rounder.
if we traded him to Buffalo before his NMC kicked in he'd have to flex his must move clauseI seriously doubt the Sabres would trade Power for Pettersson one for one, especially since it's highly unlikely Pettersson would want to play in a high tax small depressing city with poor weather and would flex his NMC as soon as it kicks in.
