Grub's Canucks & NHL News, Rumours, and & Fantasy GM | Go Your Own Way

We don't really know what happens behind the scenes as far as scouting goes. And I'm no scout but when follow the breadcrumbs Nucker, you end up with your opinion which is one I share. I'm not overly concerned about Willander but Bukala is pretty level-headed.

Also have a funny feeling Rasmus Andersson is a Canuck already and he doesn't even know it lol.

This guy talks about how the Isles should target Boeser in a trade:

Mentions potentially Romanov for Boeser 1-for-1.

I'd do that deal.
Value wise, it’s very good for the Canucks when you consider that Boeser is a pending UFA. Always liked Romanov.

What a f***ing loser.

Fun fact for y'all - when patients get a full ACL reconstruction surgery and are rehabbing it, they must clear some functional tests for return to sport. A lot of what needs to be measured is a 90-95% goal of function/strength relative to the unaffected side. However, athletes are recommended NOT to return unless they have psychosocial clearance - ie confidence, fear of movement, load apprehension, etc.

If a player on a scan has full restoration of some physiological metric of interest, that absolutely does not mean they're ready for return to sport. It's how I hazard a bunch of players end up being injury prone and get life long issues physically and psychologically.

I f***ing hate so much about the culture of sports - injury provoking and minimal focus on psychosocial wellbeing upon return to sport behaviours are deeply ingrained so early in childhood sports.

All in all, I wanted to use this post to highlight once again that Mark Spector eats rocks and recently learned to breathe from his nose.

Value wise it's trash.
What would you trade Boeser for?

Personally, I don’t think Boeser is a Canuck next year.

Spector needs to stick to the Oilers.

The guy is a donkey.

And that’s an insult to donkeys.

Romanov is a 25 year old top three defenseman that’s physical and skates well and is a RFA this summer, and won’t command a big contract.

What do you think a Brock Boeser rental is worth? He’s not going to get what Horvat was traded for.

Tweets like this one indicates that this guy's probably either talking and breathing out of his ass or shitting from his face hole.

Spector is such a loser it isn't even funny.

Cold and humidity can affect bones and joints by:

  • Changing the cellular structure of bones and cartilage
Cold and humidity can cause bones and cartilage to expand and contract, which can lead to pain

  • Increasing nerve sensitivity
Colder temperatures can increase the sensitivity of nerves in joints

  • Thickening joint fluid
Colder temperatures can thicken the fluid in joints, which can make them stiffer

  • Increasing swelling in soft tissues
Lower air pressure can cause soft tissues around joints to swell, which can increase pressure on the joint

  • Increasing osteoarthritis pain
Higher humidity and barometric pressure have been associated with increased osteoarthritis pain

  • Causing vitamin D deficiency
Colder, darker months can cause vitamin D deficiency, which can affect bone health
It's becoming clear the team may have overshot it's load last season.

Now everyone's sore and crabby.

Everyone dunks on Gillis, sure, you know what Pat Quinn did? He had a f***in' hyperbaric chamber. Technology has only come farther.

Spa Day for the boys!

I don't mean to be quite this blunt, but I'm not sure how to broach the subject delicately...

Step 1. Complain about how the media sucks and they lie and etc.
Step 2. Give them clicks
Step 3. Get more stupid articles about nothing

Like...why feed the trolls is all I'm wondering?

Sports fans consume media between games, that's sort of what they do. It's kind of like asking "How much wood could a woodchuck chuck"?

to be fair, allvin has essentially said that if he could lobotomize pettersson and replace his brain with crosbyGPT, he would

Ever heard the tale of the frog and the scorpion? If you give them clicks, it kinda disqualifies you from complaining. At least in my opinion. You don't get to do both.

*the royal "you".

It's funny to see the media, especially outside of BC go after us when enjoy success like we did last year.

The same assholes were totally MIA during the Benning years.

It amazes me Spector still has a job. Everyone in and out of his market hates him and thinks he’s a dumbass. That takes a special kind of stupid that I’ve never encountered before in the wild.

While I agree that Spector is just stirring the pot, fear of re-tearing your ACL and being out 1 year + is quite different than fear associate with something like tendinitis. I’d classify the latter as mental illness (which is obviously also serious and a reasonable excuse to not play).

Isn’t Petey’s current injury an upper body one?

He is a byproduct of our awful media ecosystem, where ragebait and incompetence are legitimate ways to juice engagement. Doesn't matter if he's a moron, he gets attention.
