LA
Game's at 8 PM Eastern in Kansas City.

Ecuador is going to have to change their playing style here, and I say have to because Curacao is not going to let them do something different. Curacao will have guys behind the ball and they'll defend, but I think they'll have even less chance to score than they did on Sunday. Ecuador's goal is simple, three points no matter how they get it. They also do HAVE TO get it.

Ecuador is good for the fact that their captial city has like zero oxygen, and 90% of the rest of the country is a rainforest akin to DR Congo.
After going up and down a mountain in Bogota (same altitude as Quito) I´m starting to think this altitude thing might be a bit overrated. Had no problem doing it and I´m a smoker.

How many spots would CONCACAF have been awarded if they weren’t hosting?

My guess would be five or six, since it was fairly consistent in the 32-team format that they didn't significantly change the total number of slots they'd have hypothetically awarded with no spots going to a host automatically, it looks like.
