Do you know of any racial slurs for Turks? If you don't, obviously you should assume that there are some. Now, if someone calls a Turk one of those racial slurs, what does it matter what the nationality of the person who said it is?
I have heard racial slurs for Turks. I've heard them used in real life more than once. And I can't personally imagine a Paraguayan using any of them.

What's happening with this referee is what was termed as "losing control of the game" when I officiated hockey, and is something you never want to do (although I'm not going to pretend like I didn't have games I lost control of - they happen to everyone). You're usually aware of it happening and once it's gone it's hard (if not impossible) to get it back, and it's a shitty feeling.

The problem is when you have a referee like this who loses control of a game but doesn't think he's lost control of the game.

It's not impossible, but highly unlikely given that racial animus doesn't usually exist in a vacuum? What do Paraguayans and Turks have to do with each other? What exactly would you insult in a Turk as a Paraguayan? It's random as hell.
I assume the why is because they're racist? Really not too complicated.

I mean it's Paraguay vs Turkey...what exactly do you think he could have said to Muldur? I'm going to go on a limb and say it's unlikely to be racial and more likely related to his mother or sister.
All someone has to do is put the word dirty or something in front of the nationality and it instantly becomes bad. If Mars ever gets a team and you called them dirty Martians it’s going to be bad.

Yildiz looks like he’s been told not to hotdog it too much. But sometimes you gotta let a player cook.

He keeps trying to cut inside.
He never seems to run it to the outside or outside the defender to the line and then put a ball in.

Anyways I think Turkey need the full 3 points. If they draw this I think they're probably done because I don't see them beating the US based on this unless the US goes with a full 2nd squad.

Have you ever watched the Turks before? They are the opposite of Scotland. Where the Scots lack talent but get surprisingly good results with great cohesion, the Turks have good talent but are a complete s***show as a team.

That’s why I make so many jokes about them looking like a Jogi Löw team.
How many managers have a run like he had

2008 - final
2010 - semi final
2012 - semi final
2014 - champion
2016 - quarter final

Then the team no longer had the same quality and his results fell off. But, how many managers have had a run like that?

I lost control of a game this year, but I can’t pinpoint when during the game that it happened. I had two really stupid coaches that were winding their players up with nonsense, and didn’t know the rules either, so maybe it started there. Or it was after I ejected a kid and he told me he was gonna kill me, but I had to eject him for what happened before that. Or it was because of my partner.

Yeah, that's pretty much his MO. We're probably still due for a whopper of a head scratcher/controversial call as well.

I just call my Turkish friends at work "You're a Greek" in a lovingly way.

That’s because they have no central presence. He knows crossing the ball is useless but that’s what he’s been told to do.
