Then and there
Why was this Schouten guy starting, even with all the midfield injuries for the Dutch. He is the definition of average (by internationla standards).

I understand the call but agree with the consensus, Maignan was never getting to that shot. Pretty frustrating, but it's not like Oranje have been playing well, especially in the second half.

Holland has indeed been terrible in this second half.

Memphis with yet another disasterclass.

Who needs players like Tel & Doue? Integrating them would take effort.
Barcola is on the bench. He'd toast that Dutch D.

Griez on the pitch is like playing with 10 men right now. No pressing, no defensive effort, nothing interesting offensively.

Looking likely to be the first scoreless draw of the tournament . Both teams don't look like they really want to try anymore

Yup. They pretty much secure a R16 spot with a draw.

Boring football.

Do France and NL have a deal?

Doesn't seem like either team thinks it's worth to try anything risky at this stage. 1 point pretty much guarantees both teams advance so not trying very hard. Any goal that happens would be out of sheer coincidence.

Correct decision on the offside, yet a fraudulently bald refereeing performance to get there. Why can't England (and Scotland, though we have the excuse of fewer resources) look at how it's done in other countries and... maybe... learn????
