I wish Dominik Kahun would draw in for team Germany. Liked him the World Juniors some years ago and I would like to see how he has progressed since.

Yes, both Kahun and Gerrit Fauser were with the team but had not been officially nominated. I think they have done similar things in the past as well, the players who weren't supposed to play in the first game weren't nominated for the roster. Seeing how you can add them at any point in time anyway, there really wasn't a reason to do so for game 1 if they weren't going to play anyway.

For today, both Kahun and Fauser have been added to the roster, though whether they will play is up in the air.

How much you Suomis trust this D group? You think Esa Lindell will be regular for Stars in upcoming nhl season, i mean is he NHL material?

Sure. Both Lindell and Pokka should be in NHL next year.

Don't really like the d group. Ohtamaa and Kukkonen are too slow with bad puck skills and Jaakola/Hietanen are playing in too big of a role.

Not sure why Noebels and Flaake are scratched in favour of Kahun and Fauser. Not that I don't want those two to play, but I liked Flaake in the first game, and there were worse forwards than Noebels on the ice as well.

Can't wait to watch Finnish forwards. Rantanen is still out?

Correct. Coach KJ isn't admitting it but they are probably hoping for Donskoi to come, but don't think San Jose will lose that series.

I just like Kukkonen very much and I always wondered why didn't make it in the NHL as a shut-down defenseman. He is just so calm and error-free. Well, he did score Belarus' second goal, so not completely error-free.

Refs miss an elbow to the head and call a weak interference penalty to the Finns right after that.
