The only way I can see USA winning this is if Kinkaid plays out of his mind and becomes a brick wall, while the US offence scores on opportunistic plays as I'm pretty sure they'll be outshot pretty significantly.

There's something highly European in Pirelli so visibly advertising in hockey tournament.

It's a failed opportunity if they don't have commercials equalizing the black rubber in Pirelli's and the black rubber in pucks.

Not totally shocked to see Colin White get this opportunity when you look at the center depth on USA with the wingers they have. He looked best when playing with Duchene and Hoffman this year so maybe he fits in?

Love this tournament, this is the most talent I have seen the USA bring in a long time its refreshing. I think the D cores will fair better on open ice then they would on NHL ice USA seems to have picked some good puck movers and handlers. Should translate well.

Oh dear god.. please continue on not having a sense of humor. it’s a high tempo game lots of fastbreaks defensemen not quite used to the ice surface, clearly it’s going to look quite iffy to start the tournament. I thought Parayko and Butcher handled it a bit better then their teammates.

Barzal vs DeBrincat

I might be slightly biased,but...Barzal looked oddly slow and extremely invisible
where as DeBrincat was one of the best players of USA, both ends of the ice.
