Who do you mean, Canada? If you mean Russia then it's not possible for Sweden to get silver and Russia gold because they will play against each other in the semis.

As far as I understand, it's a new system, that starts to work since this tournament, so pairs in semis will be according to preliminary places. So if it's Canada, Russia, Sweden and Chech in semis, then pairs will be Russia - Czech and Canada - Sweden... I think.
