Its gonna be pretty tight again especially if the discipline is lacking because the Latvian PP has been good. Were simply not coached well enough to ever produce a blowout against a Bob Hartley coached team.

We need 3 points.

We went all out on Russia and we're going to go all out on Sweden now.

We were in lead both against Russia and the Czech Republic, so a sleepy slow start by the Swedes will likely result in the same.

If we lose a couple of goals early on, a complete blowout is also possible since it doesn't matter if we lose 0-50 or 5-6.

Markström should be starting tonight, Lundqvist could use a days rest before going up against Russia and Marky needs a start.

Markstrom is a better fit vs russia. I remember he robbed them at world cup 2016

It was lundqvist who didnt look stellar vs team europe and sweden went out.

Yeah, better let Markström get a start against a tough opponent. Will be easier to see who should be #1 in the playoffs later.

With that said, Latvia is no joke and Sweden can finish 5th if they lose against both Latvia and Russia. I will bet a 4-2 win for Sweden.

They’re actually debating scratching Bratt.

That's good news for Latvia, Lundqvist has regressed quite a bit. Sounds weird, but we're probably going to have the better goalie.

Yeah, he’s 37 years old so of course he isn’t in his prime anymore but he’s still very good. I don’t know if you catch our game against the Swiss? Cause if you did you would have seen what everyone else saw. Lundqvist saving our asses. Elvis is good, but he’s yet to prove himself in the NHL. For the moment don’t even compare him to the king!

He's good, OK. But Markström is better as of May 2019 and he would probably catch 1 more shot per every 30 shots made.

Yeah it wasnt at all his fault that Sweden lost momentum after that early softie.
