GDT: Group B - May 19 - Austria vs Czech Republic

Gotcha... there is still a lot of hockey that needs to happen. Most importantly, need to beat the Swiss which is going to be a crazy hard task! Plus, depending on Swiss - Czech, Swiss - Russia, Sweden- Russia... we could finish anywhere from 4th to 1st. It's a crazy pool.

I feel like we're a crash course against a North American team in the quarters.
 
1st period - we get nothing but bad calls
2nd period - Austria gets nothing but bad calls
It might be better to fire the refs and turn the third into a game of pickup hockey. The players would be able to do a better job.

Here is my dream scenario @Nexon

Germans beat US (it's 1-1)
Canada beats US
We beat Swiss
Slovaks beat Denmark

This has us finish (at least) 2nd in our pool and we get a crossover against Germany.

Coincidentally, I'd put Sulak miles ahead of Moravcik but I've never looked what hand he is as we have one side that is Gudas, Rutta and Hronek and the other side that is weaker... maybe he is on our strong side?

We're done stacking our score soon... no way we pick up a huge goal difference against the Swiss. 1 goal games is their speciality.
 
How bad taste is it if I say it was deserved for the first 24 minutes of penalties? lol.. just kidding, hope the ref is okay

We're currently plus 24 with one game left.... that is outstanding. 2 more goals would be nice as Sweden still has Latvia and they might light them up.
 
3-1... I feel awful for Slovakia.. they put together a good team and started so strong!
 
Nice way to finish off the game. I hope these striped dumbasses won't come close to any other game we play this year
