not sure if people caught Miller's comment re: next year's tournament. Apparently Hockey Canada is of the believe they'll be beating players off with a stick...accepting applications from players to play and not pleading with players to come play...

I would expect the same because there will be no World Cup shortening the summer time off even further combined with an easy sell on the locations (i.e., great vacation places for family members).

Ya, that's going to be a while before that happens. Maybe he'll have to win an NHL scoring title first, and then he'll assume more of "I'm the guy" on any version of Team Canada.

I didn't see enough to get a feel for the defensive pairings. Curious to know how Ellis impacted things. The only thing I noted really is that Stone continues to look really good.
