Are you being sarcastic?
You have a couple of solid forward lines. The only thing separating us is a tiny bit more depth. Yet then again you have more structure and your lines weren't thrown in the blender yesterday.
Looking at odds right now, there's some value on Austria right now. This is definitely not a 75/25 game. It's more like 60/40.
Keep in mind that we have missed 2 centre forwards in Blueger and Pavlovs in recent days, as well as a W/C in Daugavins. Daugavins and Blueger were supposed to play on the 1st line together.
Look at the players we're MISSING:
- Blueger - Daugavins
Karsums - Dzerins - Redlihs
- Girgensons - Jevpalovs
- Pavlovs - Egle
7-8 of them would crack the current lineup, no questions asked. And then there's Elvis, Kalnins, Rubins, Cukste.
Half the team's missing.
Beating Austria 4-1 with a dozen players missing doesn't sound realistic, especially considering we haven't even practiced with these sort of lines.
