Now this time I was really angry. I thought we were really good at the start, probably even better than France. We hit the post two times, had a breakaway and a few more great chances. And all of a sudden France has a deflected shot and two lucky bounces. Like what the hell...it isn't even fair. They had like 4 shots in the 1st period and 3 goals.
It was basically over after that.

We have zero luck. None. It's so frustrating.

Yeah, I was like 'what the hell'? Aren't we supposed to be fast and gritty? We played as if everything was already decided and this match was a non-factor, can go either way.

We were slow and dull. If we had played like we did against Canada and Slovakia the result would have been different. That's what Chernomaz was saying basically too.
And of course if we had capitalized our chances at the beginning it could have been a different game... but we didn't and we lost.

It's not over yet, but our chance to stay up became very slim suddenly. :(

Actually no you were both fast and gritty. That's why yall had good possession and control of tempo in the first period. Then in the intermission after the first period the French team talked and realized that your team couldn't handle the puck so they began to press and well...

Overall I was very impressed by Hungary. They played with better pace than I remembered.

I'm glad that you liked the way we played against France, but did you see how we played agianst Slovakia and Canada? The results do not show what it was like. On those 2 games we were much faster.

I don't know if in MPH or I guess in Europe you use KPH you were faster, but you looked much slower in the first two games. Against France you were actually beating the French to the puck especially along the boards. Perhaps Canada is so fast that you were actually faster against Canada but still didn't stand a chance but Hungary looked much slower relative to Canada than to France.
