Contrary to hockey, where Switzerland has one of the best leagues in Europe, the soccer league is poor. Compared to the UK, Spain, Italy, Germany or Spain.
Most of these players are mercenaries and play in the big European leagues.
Switzerland has a good soccer school and counts round 60 or more mercenaries.

Why kick a dead horse? Many others too can't match those leagues. Including the MLS.

It should be that if the referee whistles the game off because of your "injury", you're getting stretchered no matter what. I can't remember what the actual rule is.

Not sure why this feels like such a letdown right now. I didn’t expect a positive result. Not even a draw. Canada is not on Switzerland’s level, but still feels like a frustrating result.
