Sweden has looked solid. They can go all the way this year.

Well, they still haven't played the arguably toughest 2 teams(in the actual tournament). Pools were a little lopsided at the top this year imo. Most people had Canada, and USA as the best teams.

But credit to the Swedes they've beaten the teams in their pool :)

finals count as elimination round as well ;)

When you go 7 years(8 now) without losing in the preliminary round, I'd consider it a choke you only have 1 gold

Should've won last year, I don't consider any other loss a choke because we weren't the favorite in it.

Typical swedish mentality... I hate it, nothings matters unless its gold

Like when the Swedish handball girls took bronz they celibrated like it was gold they won:shakehead

Is it possible for for Leaf fans not to turn every thread into a, Nylander is better tha Ehlers thread? Just be happy With your prospect! It's getting old.. Oh and heia Sverige :)

And no I dont want to get into why I dont agree :)

Happy new year Sweden, and thank you :)

Yeah, and also similar to Alexander Gustafsson who started wining about a re-match as soon as he had been beaten. Sort of reminded me when the loser want to add games, "best of 3", no "best of 5" etc. ;)

If you knew something about MMA and seen that match you should have known he got robbed on that match :)

And still he don't got that loser mentality like moste of swedes suffer from... "it's okay to be second best"

I saw it and he lost, stopped fighting after a good start. Got hit a lot. Also I don't like his crying about a re-match as soon as he had lost. Newspapers tend to exaggerate a bit though.

Edit: Anyway, that's off-topic. Good game by Sweden. Liked the way they handled the defense most of the game.

Haha and right there you disqualified yourself...

I watched that match and he clearly won 3 out of 5 rounds:laugh: and stoped fighting? i don't know what match you looked at but it wasen't Gustafsson they had to help out from the octagon.

Forsling is having a quite a year.

5 points in 29 games in the SEL as an 18 year old
6 points in 4 games in WJC, leading all defenceman

Comparison sakes, Erik Karlsson at the same age:

10 points in 45 games in the SEL
9 points in 6 games at WJC

Who's Sebastian "A-hole" and is he a nice person?

He's our best d-man, you'll remember his name when we've beaten you in the final ;)
(and "a-hoe", if it won't be ***-out is more correct and even funnier)
