This will be the real test of how good we are. I think Russia wins it though.

If Russia plays like they did against the Swedes, plus shoot the puck more instead of pass, they should win it. But you never know in these games. Should be an interesting and fast game.

The Czech have a lot on the time on this game, if they don't win they go to the relegation round. I expect them to come out with some serious drive to win this game, I just don't know if they are good enough to beat Russia.

Relegation round awaits us. And with the pain in my heart I have to say that they actually deserve that.

We win today and we will beat Slovak in quarterfinal :) or we lose and Prerost will be fired

What will be better for Czech hockey?

Prerost won't be around next year anyway I don't think.

So I'm gonna go with win and beat Slovakia in the QF :)

EDIT: And Ruzicka thinks that we'll win, so perhaps he's given Prerost a secret strategy during their discussion

Strategy used at Euro hockey tour?

Expecting dominance from Russia, in spite of the likely desperation of the Czechs (considering their situation).

Russia needs to show they mean business.

Hard decision if I should watch this game, which could cost me some nerves, or just let it go and celebrate the New Year's Eve.:) Why must Czechs always play at this time on last day of the year?!:))
