Denmark now has 3 points. Czech have 2 so they must get at least a point from the Russia game.
 
Woah.:) If the Slovaks lose to Germany in regulation tonight, it could very well mean Czechs-Slovaks for relegation.:))))
 
Good for Denmark, they're starting to establish themselves as a team to watch going forward
 
Denmark really needs to shoot the puck more.. Don't know what is up with all that O zone time and not shoot, just passing it around or dumping it. Just shoot it!!!

OT - Good for Denmark, now lets see a win :D
 
Luckily years of watching Danish international teams have cured me from getting my hopes up on picking up another point forcing the Czech to beat Russia. So I'll try to enjoy this.
 
Fiala is the worst high skill player I have ever seen. He has such great potential, but some serious personality issues the way he has been playing and nearly cost the game with the blue line give away just because he didn't want to pass the damn puck. It's a shame, he could be so great...
 
The only thing I will point out is that the Czechs are good at pulling off miracles when they are put in that position.
 
Heh I just realized that this year 4 teams from each pool make it onto to the knockout stage. I've got to say, I like this new format. It gives a lot more meaning to games like these.

That would be very very interesting. Neither team would want to lose that. Fight from hell.

Also Czechs/Fins would be fun. Czechs automatically relegated :laugh:
 
This game has been great, and the Danes are continuing to give themselves a chance in this tournament. If they win tonight, they and the Swiss will have 4 points each, and will create a weird 3 way tie if the Czech win in overtime against Russia, and I'm not sure how that tie breaker would work, and who would be relegated.

Anyways, it would mean the Czech have to beat Russia in Regulation to secure a spot, and the Swiss would be relegated I believe in that case.

Hopefully Russia does everyone a favour and beats the Czech my a margin.
 
If Denmark wins and gets another point than Czech Republic has to win in overtime or regulation to make it, otherwise if Denmark loses than Czech Republic has to do what Denmark did which is take Russia to overtime.

I'm confident in Denmark to make it to the medal round, guys worked hard every game and came back from losing big to Sweden.
 
Nice to see more of that game. Hope the Danes advance to quarters now, although I think Czech Rep could surprise Russia
