I think the difference is that no one thought Finland came into this as an inferior team. In fact, there were many who thought that the Finnish team was one of their best in several years.

There is no way this Denmark team belongs in this tournament. Either drop down to eight teams or have the last two spots decided by a qualification tournament. Germany, in my opinion is a superior team than Denmark and because of relagation an inferior team is on the ice.

Agreed the best teams should be there. The teams that decide who plays where are for the most part completely different teams.

From a Danish point of view Mathias Bau(#13), Tobias Hansen(#5), Thomas Spelling(#8) and Nicklas Jensen looks good. Feuk made some good stuff and some less good stuff... But holy blowout we're getting our ass kicked

Looking at Anders Thode(#21) I wonder why Tobias Ruelykke isn't there. You need to stay calm and keep your feet moving, not going into panic mode and getting run over all over the place

Jeeeesus we're a long way from playing something called hockey at this level. Very little structure. First period was incouraging though... Also gotta give it to the US of A
