We beat the Danes in Football and Hockey:naughty:

But this team needs to step up big time if we gonna have a realistic chans to beat Czech

Wait.

Is the Danish goalie's last name, Dahm?

That leaves so many openings for puns.

That's for dahm sure.

nah, Dahm can't really be blamed for this.
It's all penalty induced.
Wow Denmark scored - the secret was playing 5 vs 5

I mean from what i saw of him his rebound control was all over the place sure hes decent but against top teams you probably need more than decent, just my 2 cents.

Yeah well Frederik Andersen would be a huge addition as he is clearly our best goalie.
My point was really that Dahm can't be blamed for goals in this game and he was splendid against Norway, but they didn't get the same PP pressure going as the Swedes did from the 2nd period.

Well it all starts with NHL guys, they have to contribute and for Denamrk they are faltering abit.

Well to send a message to the top lines it's actually quite a good idea if that line seems to be clicking which it is in this game.

I would say that line was the worsed. But swedish people always like the 4th line, and I think that is the affect of wikegård.

Ehlers shows some good stuff (but also lots of missed passes).
Lars Eller and Jannik Hansen still somewhat invisible. At least Eller didn't high-stick this game, but he has missed 3 good chances these last 2 games.

Wenner has looked a little sleepy so far in these WC:s, but after having watched quite a few games with him in the NHL, I have seen how dominant he can be.

Needs to learn how to shoot more though. He's basically like Bäckström early in his NHL-career, where he passed on open goals.

It'll come.

I did mostly base that statement on what I have seen in NHL, he is a alibi player even in NHL. However he has sometimes looked pretty bossy in PP in NHL, I give him that. There is potential, but it seems like he is holding back like he scared of failure.

Yes Bäckström is also a quiet player, but for he also do the hard stuff and his numbers speak for itself. If Wennberg become a 60+ player then I have to be wrong about him to some degree.

if you compare him to Backlund, I would easily take Backlund today. Backlund takes far more responsibility, try to make things happen.

Nah Norman and Lundberg were good they worked hard and made the danes play in their own end.. Sjögren on the other hand..

Good game, hope Denmark can make the QF. Definitely have some interesting players, the Swedish announcers called Bau the danish Malkin ;)

On the game, disappointing for Denmark to lose this way against a very beatable Swedish side. Hard to get through that little brother complex.

Good game by Backlund!

Denmark played almost an entire period with PK. How are we supposed to be able to beat a nation like Sweden when we cant keep out of the penalty box? This has to improve, fast, as group A seems to be very close and too many penalties against Latvia Kazakstan and Switzerland will most likely get us relegated.
