That's how it's done boys!

Three Danish stars: 1) Sebastian Dahm, 2) Oliver Lauridsen/Daniel Nielsen-pairing 3) Nicklas Jensen

Totally agree.
Goalkeeping and defense are at a level we are not normally used to in a Danish NT team. :handclap:
Dahm was fantastic. What development he has had the last 2 years!
Daniel Nielsen with 2A (!) and super-solid and I can't remember any mistake he made in the game (as last WC).
Oliver Lauridsen is the defensive "monster" we needed so badly for years.
Jesper B Jensen takes over in Philip Larsen absence in being an offensive threat. What a nice goal he scored.
I felt at no point that any of our D-men were panicking, but kept their game plan.

Offensively Storm/Madsen/Jensen had a good 2nd period, but I would say the fourth line Poulsen-Starkov-Bau Hansen was excellent in killing time and putting up pressure offensively and actually getting some good chances.
Christensen-Green-Bjørkstrand did a mostly good defensive job and what a shame about Bjørkstrand hitting the crossbar.

Our NHL line was actually not that good, but maybe they need to remove some rust?.*
Ehlers had good moments, but also passing mistakes.
Jannik Hansen a bit invisible and Eller nearly cost us the game with all these non-needed (to put it politely) high sticking.

Have they already booked tickets for Frans Nielsen

It would be awesome to see Nielsen fly in from NY if they are relegated sunday, although I doubt he will if his contractsituation is not yet solved.

Huge upgrade on the center position in which we seems to struggle a bit. Getting Oliver Bjorkstrand seems more of a longshot.

So, Rangers megastar Zuccarello scores 0 and Rangers leftover depth player scores twice...funny how things workes out sometimes.

We really figured out the pk, that could be huge for us in the rest of the tournament.

Guess Simon Nielsen will get the start tomorrow, hope he brings he's A game or we're doomed.

Nielsen wont be in the net tomorrow. Trust me - He is going with Dahm.

Then coach is a moron, because you don't play same goalie in back to backs. Dahm had +40 saves... I hope our coach ins't ****** and he will play Nielsen.

This Isnt a 82 games season. You play the goalie that gives you the best chance of winning in WCH. Especially when we play a weakened swedish squad.

MOD

Congrats again to the Danes . Keep it going brothers, Canada is with you.

You actually belive that a player that hasnt even been with the national team since 2010 and had no practices with the national team before WC would do better.
Zucca said already before WC that none should belive he would be the deciding factor in us winning games.
Despite not getting any points he was damn active in the match, a wopping 9 shots on net though.

He will run the same goalie as today. he was lights out vs norway and its the WC. He's still rested up and can easily do a match a day. Perhaps after tomorrow the coach runs Dahm.
It all depends on the work load denmark gets against Sweden

If you should fail, fail hard.

Zucca played in the Sochi Olympics in 2014 (and was basically invisible), and yes they had practices there. He also played some friendly matches the year before. A Norway fan but doesn't remember the Sochi Lineup...

Take a deep breath and read my post again.
I wasnt critizising Zucca. I was merely making an observation how close it is from being a succes and a failure...And before you explode, no I dont consider Zucca to be a failure, but many people think exactly that about Jensen....
