In theory, this should be something similar to the match against France. Let's hope Russia stays concentrated and disciplined.

Any idea if Starkbaum is starting for Austria again today? He was great yesterday

Austria is resisting more than France, but Russia should take this comfortably judging by the 1st period.

Haven't tuned in, Canada v Korea is at the same time. Sounds like Russia is well on their way to a win.

Keep it going, hopefully we meet for Gold.

Not even sure, where to place Gusev now. The 1st and 2nd lines look like are set. And bottom6 role isn't for him.

After the Shipachyov situation do you think Gusev plays for Vegas?

Well, Vegas looks great, so why not. We say, the winner is always right. And Shipachyov is now on bad terms not just with Vegas, but with SKA management as well. It looks like he won't get an extension. And he isn't playing at WHC. He's a kinda weird person, actually, and Gusev knows it for sure.

I like Gusev's potential. Kind of a mini McDavid with the same 97 sweater.

The 4th and 5th goals are both great. Grigorenko's moves were slick, and Datsyuk is a master as always, what a pass.

He's more like Panarin. Very close to Artemii with his skating, IQ, shot, hands.

I think Artemi is a little flashier than Gusev in terms of dribbling and 1 vs. 1 play, whereas Gusev is a more of a clever, non-conventional player with excellent vision of the ice.

Gusev will be a UFA when his current contract ends, so I don't think he's gonna sign with Vegas. I believe there will be more interesting offers for him.
