Of all the games I've seen this tournament, this has been the worst one. Both teams slow, coasting most of the time. Enough for both to get into quarters. Thank the home team for choking.

I was impressed that Eichel keeps working the cross-seam feed over to Kane on the PP when he could be shooting. It was nice to see one come back.

And then the flames send him to their AHL team, and there he only plays 4 games, and goes back to germany.
We have seen the same **** with Ehliz.

The Flames are burned ground for DEL players.

Totally agree - better not the Flames! Still trying to figure out what happened to Ehliz there. :skeptic:

He was sent to the AHL under the premis that he would play there regulary.
But the AHL team didn't know what to do with him on the roster. So he only played 4 games and got home and ditched Nürnberg for Munich.

Yeah, I know.

Ehliz, idk never seen him as an outstanding DEL player, good to very good, but not necessarily a guy who can contribute in the NHL. I'm not completely surprised the Flames didn't give him a shot.

Eichel and Larkin were the top 2 forwards always buzzing out there, and JVR was a top passer today, who the hell would have thought that?? lol

Larkin finding some comfort level with JVR is nice though. Both guys have struggled at times in this tournament so them finding chemistry should be interesting moving forward. It felt like that line really worked today. I thought today was Larkin's best game by a lot, nice to see him step up.

Suter was also a force today in my opinion. Every time he got out there he was controlling the contest defensively and quickly crisply moving the puck around.

Suter hasn't been flashy, but logging almost 26 minutes of ice time per game, he has been our anchor and only getting up to speed as the tourney goes. Werenski and Hanifin should likely be a pair on Tuesday, but whoever Suter pairs with he carries that pair no doubt.
